As a civilian who carries a firearm on a daily basis I think that the Glock 19 is by far the best choice when it comes to accuracy, durability, reliability and functionality. You get a somewhat easy to conceal firearm that will fire every time, requires little to no maintenance and is "combat" accurate; no bells and whistles no extras just a dependable firearm. I have competed in many shooting competitions and finished with the same score as people who have "competition" accurate pistols. There is a reason that Glock has such a great reputation its because they make great products. There is virtually no recoil and you get 15 rounds of magazine capacity +1 in the chamber. I added tru-glo night sights and replaced the back plate just to make the pistol match my style. if you can think of an upgrade you can get it for your Glock because they are the most customizable pistol in the world. A lot of people whine and talk crap about the 9mm being a weak caliber for self defense, its not the caliber that matters its the shot placement. I say ask those people to stand infront of your 9mm while you shoot it.
